Meet the Team

DVM - Dr. Emily Zakrajsek - Practice Owner
After graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2018, Dr Emily began practicing veterinary medicine in Tillsonburg as a mixed animal veterinarian. Having been horse-crazy her whole life, she quickly fell in love with equine practice, but also maintains a passion for working on species of all kinds. Not one to sit still, she spends her time outside of work at the gym, walking her 4 dogs and riding/spending time with her horses. In 2021 Dr. Emily and her husband Eric started their own practice: Talbot Road Veterinary Services. Dr Emily can't wait to serve all the creatures of Norfolk county and beyond!

She is Fear Free certified in feline, canine, equine, and avian care, and regularly completes continuing education to improve the human-animal bond. Dr. Carleigh has worked with many rescues, shelters, and sanctuaries, but has a special place in her heart for the unique needs of donkeys. After growing up on beautiful Georgian bay, Dr. Courtney embarked on a new adventure, relocating to the Delhi area and joining the Talbot Road team. Although she likes a little bit of everything, Dr. Courtney’s professional interests include: ophthalmology, small animal nutrition, surgery, preventive care and community outreach. She is dedicated to continuing her education in multiple species and areas of veterinary medicine in order to provide the best care possible to her patients.
