24/7 Emergency Afterhours care for existing clients with a Valid Client Patient Relationship (VCPR)

Please note that our after-hour services are only extended to existing clients with a valid patient-client relationship and are in good standing. Meaning that we see them at minimum once yearly during regular business hours and have no outstanding balance. Payment is required at the time of service, Talbot Road Veterinary Services does not offer payment plans.​

Vaccinations
As a mainstay in animal health we are passionate about ensuring all our patients are protected. For those cats and dogs that prefer not to travel we are happy to come to you!

At Talbot Road we are committed to ensuring that your pet's final moments are as peaceful and dignified as possible. We are here to provide families with support and care during the hardest of times.
Surgery
Our top-of-the-line surgical suite is ready to go! We offer in-clinic spays, neuters, dentals and soft tissue surgeries (enucleations, foreign bodies and so much more!).
Dental Care
Your pet's oral health is important to us! With more and more research showing how oral health impacts other organs such as the heart, kidneys and liver, we're committed to helping you ensure your pet's teeth stay in tip-top shape!

In-Clinic Diagnostics
Here at Talbot Road we're proud to offer in-house diagnostics such as radiographs (x-ray), bloodwork machines, urinalyses, fecals and much more! Our care team is committed to ensuring you can get results related to your pet's health in as timely a manner as possible!
Nutrition Advice
Just like in humans, proper nutrition is a key element in animal care and something that all our doctors and technicians are trained in. We're happy to provide individualized feeding plans and recommendations for your pet!
Exotic's Animal Services
We provide basic services for species such as avians, amphibians, reptiles, small mammals, and bees. Please note that we do not see any species that are either venomous or poisonous. Please note that although we are able to perform basic care and surgeries, some procedures will require referral to a specialty clinic.
Health Exams
Knowing the ins-and-outs of your less common companion is a huge part of ownership and ensuring their health. With our knowledge on proper husbandry and care we can help you give your pet the best life you can!

Wellness Exams

Vaccinations
As a mainstay in animal health we are passionate about ensuring all our patients are protected. We offer various vaccine options to suit your horse's (or donkey's!) needs as well as protocols for foals and pregnant mares
Surgery
On-farm we offer routine equine castrations and laceration repairs. For haul-ins to our equine suite we are able to perform enucleations, tooth extractions, and other standing surgeries.
Outside of our service area? That's not a problem. We provide haul-in/referral services where you can transport your equines to the large animal portion of our hospital for surgical services, and more!
Dental Care
No tooth, no horse! Here at Talbot Road we are very passionate about ensuring all our equine patients receive annual oral checks and power floating when needed to maintain proper grinding angles and comfort. We remind all our clients that veterinarians are the ONLY people licensed to work on your horse's teeth.

Sport Horse Medicine
Athleticism is something that sets the horse apart and we recognize the importance of keeping your working horses in tip-top shape! With services ranging from pre-season soundness exams, lameness work ups, diagnostic imaging (x-rays and ultrasound), joint injections and orthobiologic options, our team is prepared to keep your horse performing at it's best throughout it's career
Reproductive Services
From cycle checks to artificial insemination, to foaling and post-partum care, our team provides the support needed to ensure your horse's pregnancy is as smooth as possible. Please note that we do not offer stallion collections
Ruminant Animal Services
We provide services for all ruminant species including Bovine (Beef/backyard cattle, not dairy production), Goats, Sheep, Caprines.
Pet services
We understand that not all ruminants can be considered on a herd level. Our team is more than happy to address individual pet needs whether it be a single goat, sheep, cow or even alpaca! Whatever the concern we're happy to address it and provide the same level of individualized care that we would for a cat or dog

Reproductive Services
From larger herds to smaller ones, our team is there to help in pregnancy detection and birth planning for any of our ruminant species
Herd Work
With an annual farm visit we are happy to guide you through your herd health needs including vaccination protocols, disease outbreaks and biosecurity information
Surgical Services
Various options for castration are available along with some advanced surgeries such as cesarean sections, laceration repairs and more.
